James Nelsen

Jim is the founder and president of Capital Investment Solutions, Inc.  He is a graduate of Western Washington University and received his degree in Business with an emphasis in Personal Finance.  Upon graduation he entered the financial services industry joining First Investors Corporation as a registered representative in 1990. 

After 11 years at First Investors, Jim moved to Linsco/Private Ledger (now LPL Financial) in 2001.  Jim is a registered principal, investment advisor representative (IAR), maintains several securities registrations with LPL Financial, and is also licensed in life, disability, and long-term care insurance.

Jim, his wife, and son currently reside in Renton, Washington.  He enjoys golf, traveling, and is an avid Seahawks fan.
